
A Justice-Focused Program with Brother Rashid Darden
Brother Rashid Darden was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated in 2003 through Mu Lambda Chapter in the District of Columbia. His service to the Fraternity spans chapter, district, regional, and national levels, with a focus on leadership development, communications, history, and arts and culture.
His Alpha service includes work as Founding Chairman of the National Arts & Humanities Advisory Council, Director of Alpha University in the Eastern Region, District Historian in North Carolina, and leadership roles within Mu Lambda and Phi Lambda Chapters.

Brother Darden offers chapters a program focused on Alpha’s legacy, leadership, and responsibility in the present moment. His work invites Brothers to reflect on how Black-led institutions carry both tradition and accountability, and how Alpha’s founding purpose continues to call for moral leadership.
